How To Delete A Self-Managed File Storage Instance

Self-Managed customers have the ability to delete an active File Storage instance associated with a Self-Managed Server via the File Storage tool in the haimsait Control Panel. To delete File Storage on your Self-Managed server, follow these steps:

1. Log in to the haimsait Control Panel.

2. Navigate to the Product Overview of the Self-Managed Server.

3. Choose ‘File Storage’ option under the ‘Server Tools’.

4. Click ‘Delete’ in the Delete file storage section. A confirmation modal will pop-up stating the amount of data that will be deleted.

5. Click ‘Delete’ to proceed.

What happens next

By accepting this, all customer data stored on the File Storage instance, associated with the Self-Managed Server will be removed permanently.


When a Self-Managed Server is cancelled (after the cancellation period), any active associated File Storage instance (user and data) will be deleted with immediate effect.


It’s your responsibility to transfer data to another File Storage instance beforehand.

Only one File Storage instance is allowed per Self-Managed Server.
