Cname (canonical name)

A Cname is a record in a DNS database that indicates the true host name of a computer that its aliases are associated with.

In other words, the Cname record specifies another domain to which the user would be redirected.


Cnames can be adjusted with the DNS tool in the haimsaiT Control Panel.
